Established in 2012 as ÍRÁN:CI, KOM:PAS is a platform which allows us to introduce the
Czech audiences to some of the most exceptional audiovisual works which rarely make it to
the big screen in the Czech Republic. Having started as a showcase of Iranian cinema, we
later expanded our focus to a much wider spectrum of cinematography from other countries.
The core of our program consists of independent, internationally acclaimed and remarkable
films from Central Asia, the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America with a special highlight on
one region or country in each year.
